Tenemos el placer de anunciar la finalización con éxito del proyecto de depósitos de agua para el St. Peter Girls College de la archidiócesis de Gulu (Uganda).

Los depósitos de agua se han instalado en el colegio, proporcionando agua limpia y segura a las alumnas. Este proyecto ha traído una inmensa alegría y alivio a la comunidad escolar, permitiendo a las alumnas estudiar sin ningún problema relacionado con el agua.

DOORS AND WINDOWS FOR THE NYPEA GIRLS’ PRIMARY SCHOOL

PS Automation supported the completion of the two class blocks in the Nypea Girls’ Primary School in the Nebbi Diocese, Uganda. To ensure a safe environment for the students to learn, the urgently needed windows and doors had to be bought and installed. Due to strong wind and rain, it was almost impossible to teach primary school children without windows and doors. The 8 newly created classrooms were urgently needed because the number of students has increased from 200 to 1110 in the past 6 years.

SCHOOL FURNITURE FOR ST. MONICA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL IN UGANDA

Last week, the Congregation of Saint Martin of Porres Brothers in the Diocese of Nebbi in northern Uganda confirmed that the school furniture financed by PS Automation GmbH and Max Schmidhuber had been finished and delivered to the St. Monica Nursery and Primary School in Onjuku Village.

For 296 girls and boys in the Nursery and 688 pupils in the Primary School, the number of available desks was completely inadequate. As part of the project of the Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V., which PS Automation was supporting, 80 new school desks, 5 bookshelves, 2 tables and 14 chairs were procured.

For over 50 years Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V. has been helping young people in Africa make their way to better education. We are happy to be able to contribute also this year.

GIRLS DORMITORY IN ZIMBABWE

In 2017, PS Automation GmbH joint together with Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V. to improve the education of young girls in Zimbabwe.

Due to the weak infrastructure in Africa and the distance to schools, young girls are not able to attend a school without accommodation on the school campus. With an existing 65 beds in the girls` dormitory, Neshaya Secondary School in Hwange/Zimbabwe already started to take care of the problem. Nevertheless, since more than half of the 200 schoolgirls still need a place to stay, additional sleeping places are urgently needed.

With the financial support of PS Automation GmbH, it was possible to extend the dormitory by 50 additional beds. This project is already in the construction phase and the shell and roof have already been built. After the remaining building tasks are completed, the extended dormitory will be ready to be used in May 2018.

We look forward to giving 50 girls the opportunity to experience further education by engaging in this project.

SCHOOL DESKS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL IN SILLE, UGANDA

PS Automation is keen to support the Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V.. The aim of the Schulhilfswerk is to provide financial aid to African schools quickly and unbureaucratically. This is done on application, which is checked by the Schulhilfswerk. One of the last projects that could be realized together with PS Automation was the purchase of 160 three-seater school desks for a primary school in Sille, Uganda.

HOLY GHOST COLLEGE NOMINATES PS AUTOMATION FOR AWARD

PS Automation GmbH has been supporting the Schulhilfswerk Afrika e.V. (school relief organization for Africa) already for many years with donations to build schools and to equip them with teaching materials and furnitures.

This year the Holy Ghost College in Sankera (Namibia) celebrates its 10th anniversary. For this reason the school has nominated PS Automation GmbH for the award «Pillar of Holy Ghost College, Sankera». It will be granted during the celebrations hold on October 29th, 2016.

PS Automation GmbH is looking forward to this acknowledgement and congratulates the Holy Ghost College on its 10th anniversary. Already 130 students has graduated from the college since 2012. PS Automation strives to further support this positive development and wishes the school all the best for its future.

MUEBLES PARA LA ESCUELA RAGEM PRIMARY SCHOOL EN UGANDA

Dentro del marco del patrocinio del Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V., la PS Automation también en 2015 ha apoyado varios proyectos escolares en África.

En el marco del patrocinio para el Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V., un organismo privado para el apoyo de escuelas en África en forma de una obra de asistencia escolar sin ánimo de lucro, PS Automation nuevamente en 2015 participó con una donación para la financiación de un proyecto escolar en África, en este caso muebles para la escuela Ragem Primary School en el noroeste de Uganda, la cual tiene más que 1000 alumnos.

PS Automation patrocina material docente para clases en ciencias naturales en la escuela St. Francis Xavier Secondary School en Kasulu, Tansania. Este colegio fue fundado hace unos pocos años y ya tiene 10 clases y aproximadamente 500 alumnos. Los fondos se utilizan para incorporar clases de ciencias naturales con laboratorios en las materias química, biología y física.

APOYO PARA EL «HOLY GHOST COLLEGE SANKERA» EN NIGERIA

Con su donación para el Schulhilfswerk für Afrika e.V., PS Automation contribuyó al desarrollo de la escuela en forma de la instalación de un labor científico. El “Holy Ghost College Sankera” es operado por los hermanos espírito santo de la región Makurdi en Nigeria. El hermano Kuha Indyer es el motor impulsor de este proyecto. La escuela comenzó a operar en 2006 con inicialmente 30 alumnos y ha expandido considerablemente desde entonces.

Última información de los proyectos actualmente atendidos por el SCS – resultados de 2004 – Noticias de Uganda: ‘SHA’ Escuelas de África:

La escuela primaria en Santa Teresa de Ávila es una de las cinco escuelas primarias del Condado de Butebo de la parroquia católica de Kabwangasi, que está situado en una región muy pobre. En los años 80, la zona se vio afectada fuertemente por una guerra civil. Hoy en día se les enseña a 1.250 alumnos en esta escuela. Un ala, construida en 1950, que alberga seis aulas, requiere una urgente renovación y un nuevo techo. Otra ala con tres salones de clase debe ser completada. Esto aliviará la sobrepoblación de las clases y mejorará el ambiente académico. La solicitud de estos proyectos ha sido hecha por el padre Lawrence Sendegeya del Arzobispado de Tororo. Alivio para las Escuelas de África donará € 11.000 para este proyecto, cuyos costos ascienden a un total € 17.000.

En la escuela secundaria St. Kizito en Katikamu, que es uno de los nueve centros de enseñanza secundaria en la diócesis Kasana-Luweero, se les enseña a 640 alumnos. Para mejorar el nivel educativo, se le dará apoyo especial y St. Kizito es una de ellas. Para ello, la escuela secundaria deberá estar equipada con material didáctico para las clases de ciencias como Biología, Química y Física. SHA ha obtenido una lista detallada de los materiales requeridos la cual fue aprobada por el obispo. Para empezar, el SHA ha concedido una cantidad parcial de € 2,000.

La Escuela de Espíritu Santo Kaddunda es una escuela primaria que enseña a 1.200 alumnos en Kaddunda, una comunidad de tamaño medio situada 120 km al norte-oeste de la capital, Kampala. La escuela fue fundada hace 60 años como una escuela rural. Sin embargo, la falta de mantenimiento y la destrucción durante la guerra civil hizo que las edificaciones entraran franco deterioro por lo que difícilmente se pueden utilizar. Pero la enseñanza todavía continúa, con alrededor de 1.200 alumnos que asisten a clases. Ahora se prevé restaurar las edificaciones ya existentes o reconstruirlas totalmente. La primera fase tendrá un costo de aprox. €43.000. Una vez que la financiación total este asegurada, Alivio para las Escuelas Africanas donará €10.000 euros a la primera fase. Esto permitirá a la escuela la compra de materiales como el techo de hierro corrugado, así como puertas y ventanas.

Esperamos que sigan ayudándonos este año para que juntos podamos dar apoyo a las Escuelas en África que están luchando por la supervivencia y tienen una gran necesidad de nuestra ayuda.
